The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) is a New York State licensed (online) school that educates students on Health and Wellness with a one-year Health Coach Training Program (HCTP). The school has a global reach with over 50,000 alumni and graduates over 10,000 students a year. As the President and licensed NY State School Director, I ran all facets of the business (Sales, Marketing, Education, Product, Technology, Finance and HR) and reported directly to the founder and chairman.
Major accomplishments at IIN included:
• Through a series of turnaround activities, made the company profitable on a (net) monthly basis; grew revenue 30% YOY.
• Performed an organization overhaul hiring new executive team (VPs in Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and Product).
• Increased SEM/PPC efficiency by 50%, reducing spend by $1M/yr; reduced cost per enrollment from $1K to $500.
• Elevated email marketing capabilities with creation of robust Marketo campaigns and ReturnPath certification.
• Increased sales performance by more than 20% via new operating structure, compensation plan, and call center solution.
• Rolled out a Business Intelligence/sales/marketing platform resulting in improved operational decision making.
• Developed a capital budgeting process. Established International operations while saving the company $600k in taxes.
• Created a Product organization and elevated an agile development process. Rolled out a new proprietary Learning Management Platform providing students with a unified learning experience across responsive websites and mobile apps.
• Designed companywide performance/talent management program increasing employee morale and performance.
